Our Story
~ Alyssa's POV ~
Well… sort of.
In 2021, my mom worked at a local pizza shop and kept talking about this guy named Nathan — how smart, kind, and down-to-earth he was. She was convinced we'd hit it off and, naturally, I was skeptical.
When I asked what he liked to do for fun, she said, "He plays video games."
That was an instant nope from me.
Fast forward a few weeks, and I started noticing him working the front desk at the gym I had just started going to. Eventually, I caved and asked him to make me a workout plan — even though I was a tri-sport athlete in high school, I had to act like I had no idea what I was doing just so he'd help me.
But somehow, I stopped focusing on the workouts… and started focusing on how Nathan strutted around the gym like he owned the place (and looked dang good doing it).
We eventually started hanging out. Then dating (after he asked me out while we were sitting on my brother's living room couch). And even though I was determined not to say it first, I ended up being the one to say "I love you" first.
So, from pizza shop matchmaking to gym crushes and late nights binge-watching our favorite Netflix series (the "I love you" happened halfway through season two of Breaking Bad, by the way), we've built something real, steady, and full of love.
Now, we can't wait to spend forever together — starting with a party surrounded by the people we love most.
Wedding FAQ
August 8, 2026.
4:00 PM, with cocktail hour and reception to follow.
Stone Valley Estates in Huntingdon, PA. Both the ceremony and reception will be on-site.
Black tie. Think sophisticated, polished, and elegant — gentlemen in tuxedos and ladies in formal floor-length attire. No jeans, please!
Plus ones are listed by name on your invitation. If your invite is addressed to one, we kindly ask that you join us solo so we can celebrate with all of the people closest to us.
We're planning an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception. We'll have a thoughtful weather backup ready in case the day calls for it.
We love your little ones, but we've chosen to keep the celebration adults-only with a few exceptions for immediate family.
